ABOUT CARL P. COLBERT, LTD, P.C.

 Bio

Carl Colbert was born in Renton, Washington. Carl attended the University of Washington where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Immediately upon graduation from the University of Washington, Carl began his law school career at the Yale Law School.

After graduation from the Yale Law School, Carl went to work for the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis at that firm’s New York City office. Carl worked in the corporate practice group where his practice was limited to venture capital, private equity and corporate finance transactions.

Carl left Kirkland & Ellis for Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom International’s Singapore office in 1997 where he practiced corporate law until he left to pursue his own goals back in the United States.

Carl now accepts cases throughout Washington.

Carl has appeared on CBS's 48 Hours, CBS's 48 Hours Mysteries, CBS's 48 Hours Hard Evidence, various ID Channel programs, A & E Network's American Justice and Oxygen Network's Snapped.
